  • Although the outcome was heartbreaking, the staff were compassionate and gave us time to say goodbye.
We brought our kitty in on Friday evening due to our vet not offering emergency services. Although the outcome was heartbreaking, the staff were compassionate and gave us time to say goodbye. They were accommodating to waiting for the rest of the family to drive down so we could all be there for her final moments and took such great care of our Peanut. Thank you.

  • I can't thank you enough. I greatly appreciate your hard work, dedication, and compassion during a critical time.
Last month while at our NH summer cottage my dear dog needed urgent medical attention. The local veterinarian referred us to Meredith Place Veterinary Emergency Hospital. Upon arrival my bud was swiftly taken in to be treated while I remained curbside. I was updated by phone as to his treatments and go home instructions. Dr. Flagg, technicians, and reception, I can't thank you enough. I greatly appreciate your hard work, dedication, and compassion during a critical time.

  • I could not be more happy with MVER, no matter how my situation ended.
I could not be more happy with MVER, no matter how my situation ended. I brought my boxer, Gunner, in on 12/28 because he had randomly started having seizures that day and they were happening every 30 minutes - an hour. The receptionist (or tech) who answered the phone was so nice and so calm even though I was already a mess, once we arrived they got him into the facility quickly, and it took maybe 15 minutes to hear from the vet the first time. Once more information was found I heard from the vet immediately, sadly this news was that my boy needed to be euthanized, but she was so caring with her information. Once I arrived back, the tech came and opened the door for me, she was so so very kind, she walked me through everything and reassured me many times that I was able to take as much time as I needed with each step of the process before/during/after. Once I was ready the vet came in to administer the dose and once again, was so caring and walked me through everything slowly and with kindness and once he was gone she made it clear that I was welcome to stay with him as long as I’d like. All of that to say, on the worst night of my life so far, everyone made it was easy and seamless as possible.

  • The veterinarian and techs were professional, kind, empathetic and helped to ease our beautiful Ella’s pain as well as ours.
While traveling on vacation, our 12 year old Golden Retriever Ella started to experience difficulties breathing. Her exam and prognosis was devastating. We had to make the difficult decision to humanely end her time with us. The veterinarian and techs were professional, kind, empathetic and helped to ease our beautiful Ella’s pain as well as ours.

  • Thank you MVER for being so good with our furbaby Ryu and for being so kind and helpful to us!
We had to bring our 10 year old Siberian Husky here on Sunday. She was seen quickly when we got there (we live an hour away) and they said she had pyometra. She ended up needing an emergency spay and they were amazing with her. They kept us updated through texts and we were able to bring her home that night. Two days later I got an email from them just to check in and see how she was doing! We are waiting to hear if she will need another surgery which I'm praying she doesn't but I'm grateful to them that they were able to see what was wrong and send samples out to the pathologist to determine next steps after she recovers from this surgery. Thank you MVER for being so good with our furbaby Ryu and for being so kind and helpful to us!

  • I was able to call the emergency vet a few times in between and they remembered my dog and were so nice and helpful! They really cared and wanted to make sure my dog got the help she needed.
I recently moved to the area. When my dog started having an issue I tried calling local vets to make an appointment. I was told by a few they weren't taking any new patients at all and other vets didn't have an available appointment for a new patient for a while. The emergency vet in Meredith was wonderful! I'm so glad they were able to help my dog so that my dog didn't have to suffer longer waiting for an available appointment

    Update: 12/28/21
My dog ended up having an ongoing issue and we had to bring her to the ER again a few weeks later when her new regular vet was out of town and the other vet in the office wouldn't call me back. I was able to call the emergency vet a few times in between and they remembered my dog and were so nice and helpful! They really cared and wanted to make sure my dog got the help she needed. The whole team at the ER are wonderful!

  • Nothing prepares you for your 3 month old puppy needing surgery for a blockage. They took such good care of my pup. They quickly got him into surgery and he was home the next morning.
Nothing prepares you for your 3 month old puppy needing surgery for a blockage. They took such good care of my pup. They quickly got him into surgery and he was home the next morning. Recovery was quick and he had no issues. For an out of pocket emergency surgery I was eased with the price of it! I highly recommend this place!

  • I've had two experiences with Meredith ER vet and both were great.
I've had two experiences with Meredith ER vet and both were great. Once I called because my dog was having a seizure and I was a terrified mess, and the woman on the other end really calmed me, helped me through it, and was very kind. And again I brought my other dog in for an infection and they got him in quickly, the process was very simple without excessive paperwork. They were very kind and helpful both times and I couldnt recommend them more. Maybe a tiny bit pricier than some places, but you get the service you pay for!
